Upcoming Chapter Elections

Just another reminder!! Please read below!

It is that time of year again!!  Our local chapter elections are right around the corner!  We will be passing out ballots at our Product Fair on October 14, 2021. We would love to fill the ballots with some new names!  Please consider serving your chapter and running for one of the following offices:

President (currently held by Jill Reese; the new president will hold the position of president elect until Jan 2023 to allow for effective hand-off)
Secretary  (currently held by Emily Cone)
Treasurer (Currently held by Kelly Nader)
Member at Large (Currently held by Becky Collins)

All positions will start on Jan 2022. 

Please feel free to reach out to any of the above listed individuals and find out the requirements and time obligations of holding any of the offices that are up for re-election.  I personally have been a board member for almost 5 years and can truly say that the board works as a team and supports each other to accomplish the goals of the chapter.  So, you will always have help no matter what office you hold.

There are several benefits to being a board member:
1.  Annual ONS dues covered by chapter
2.  No charge for dinner at chapter meetings
3.  Great food at our board meetings
4.  Enlightening conversations with charming people
5.  If elected as president, you get to hang out with Jill Reese and go to Pittsburgh for a leadership conference.
6.  Opportunity to serve your fellow nurses
